The major aim of United State President’s Emergency Fund for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) is to improve medical schools in Africa. The fund was started with a grant worth $130 million. To contain the flight of doctors to green pastures, the African governments should create clear career paths and support regional research.

According to a variety of reliable sources, the number of doctors per a thousand populations is very low in Africa. It is a mere 13 doctors per 100,000 populations. Compare that number to 60 in India and 280 doctors in the USA. These statistics simply show that there is an acute shortage of doctors in Africa.

This shortage is caused by a low retention of doctors. The doctors are trained in the African medical schools then they immigrate to the high income countries like US, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden and other countries which treat them with dignity. These doctors are needed back home to serve the overstretched health system.

I Am Interested in Information on Accountancy Jobs

I currently have over 100 credit hours towards a degree in accounting. I am looking to be an accountant for a firm. It would be very interesting to find what accountancy job are available in the banking industry. There are other countries I would consider moving to if there are more opportunities to find employment. The UK would be very desirable for me to move to but it is not the only country I would consider relocating to. I am in the United States currently. I live in Kentucky now and there are not an abundance of accountancy jobs.

I will be graduating in the spring of 2015 if I stay on task and complete the goals I set for myself. I have two kids and I am also working full time so this may be delayed. The latest I could see myself graduating would be the fall of 2016. I hope that things turn out well.
